An Introduction to Evmos

Evmos is a decentralized proof of stake blockchain in the Cosmos ecosystem. It is entirely compatible with the Ethereum network because it is built on the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). Evmos’ objective is to deploy Ethereum-based programs and assets to Cosmos’ interoperable networks while balancing developer and user incentives and attempting to innovate in the EVM and interchain composability sectors.

1. Stake $EVMOS to a Validator
2. Vote on any governance proposal
3. Interact with dApps deployed on Evmos Chain.
4. Execute a cross-chain transfer between Evmos to Osmosis/Cosmos Hub

How To Add Evmos Network on Metamask Wallet?

Method 1

1. Add Evmos network
   Open https://chainlist.org/ and search for “Evmos”.
2. Click on Connect the wallet and add the chain.

1. Open diffusion.fi
2. When you link your Metamask wallet, the website will fill in all of the relevant information on your wallet when it asks you to add it. It’s as simple as clicking the “Confirm” button.

3. Now your Wallet is connected with diffusion.fi, do the small swap and you will get your last 25% of the airdrop.

Task 4: Transfers between blockchains(IBC)

The Transfer button moves us to the IBC Transfer section and requests our EVMOS address on the Osmosis network, then we confirm the Keplr wallet by clicking the “Get Address” button.
